One of my key focusses when I joined LegalBase was the restructuring of the Product shop and Payment portal, I had previously done some consulting work for another E-Commerce company (Homebell GmbH) and their payment funnel. Both (respectively) offered challenges in the amount and sensitivity of information given before purchasing which hindered sales, conversions and increased customer acquisition costs.
My role included many functions including but not limited to, Project management, design team leadership, user research and guidance of our interns and work students. User experience design (cross browser and device) in rebuilding the existing website, online shop and payment portal. Our team shared a strong internal bond, and much like a family, we all had the same set of values and goals.
